Charlaine Tengna: "Entrepreneurship at all costs!"
CAMEROON
Launched barely a month ago, Charlaine Tengna's hostess service start-up "Aristha Agency" has just made its first official release. It was on February 22, 2019 during an afterwork event organized by the Association of Alumni of the Higher School of Economic and Commercial Sciences (ESSEC) of Douala, class of 2001. A trial run, a masterstroke, Artiaf wanted to know more about this small company that promises.
Entrepreneurship is not an easy project. To achieve this, we must arm ourselves with patience, courage and above all determination. Charlaine Tengna is one of those ambitious and dynamic young Africans who decided to undertake with few resources. Indeed, based in Douala, Cameroon, Charlaine Tengna, 29, graduated in bilingual literature from the University of Buea in the South-West of Cameroon. After her training, she struggled to find work. She is not discouraged and above all she does not want to stop there. Charlaine then decides to undertake. But in which sector is this launch? She remembers that when she was younger, she worked for a long time as a hostess and this job became a real passion for her. She adopts this line of activity to start her project. This is how the "Aristha Agency" structure was born in January 2019.
The agency specializes in the placement of reception staff and covers all types of events namely institutional ceremonies, weddings, seminars and corporate events. Its staff of eight (8) is composed of commercial and event hostesses. In the long term, the company intends to deploy in the organization of weddings, interpreting, translation, travel assistance and protocol.

It is therefore thanks to an afterwork that a month later, that Aristha Agency gets its first contract. It is a godsend to seize and especially the opportunity to make a sensation. The ceremony is organized by the ESSEC alumni association (class of 2001) on Friday, February 22, 2019 at GICAM in Douala. The agency rises to the general public with a bang. For a first it is a masterstroke. The beauty, elegance and "know-how" of the hostesses make the difference. And it is a rather satisfied public who with pleasure appreciates the prowess of the agency and recognizes "that the hostesses of Aristha Agency have noted the presence of their event" says one of the participants who wished to remain anonymous.
To date, the company is doing quite well. New requests are in sight and Charlaine intends to recruit a little more staff. With bilingual hostesses with "full heads", Aristha Agency hopes to make a good market share in Douala where competition is fierce. Indeed, the leader of the agency "Aristha" remains optimistic, because according to her, her company keeps a comparative advantage vis-à-vis its competitors especially in terms of punctuality, elegance or eloquence of its hostesses.
Charlaine Tengna has a dream close to her heart. Make "Aristha Agency" known beyond the borders of Cameroon and become a reference in terms of events. It advises and encourages young people to focus on entrepreneurship and to launch themselves as soon as possible in order to meet the challenge of Africa's development.
